Check an official school source
Schools set their own dance dates, venues, ticket windows, guest rules, and arrival procedures. Use the current school announcement, student activities office, or organizer message for your event. Last year’s flyer or a friend’s screenshot can be out of date.
Record the exact date, time, and place in a separate note before entering them into the poster maker. If you cannot confirm a field, leave a neutral placeholder rather than guessing.
Know what the sign is for
A personal HOCO proposal asks one person to attend with you. It is not a ticket, an official dance flyer, or proof that a guest is eligible. Keep school branding off the sign unless you have permission.
If you are making a general dance invitation for a club, confirm who is authorized to publish event details and where questions should go.
Review rules that affect plans
Before promising a meetup or group photo, check whether the school has policies for visitors, signs, filming, decorations, or items brought onto campus. Rules vary, so a generic checklist cannot replace the local instructions.
If tickets or forms are needed, arrange them through the school’s stated process. Do not print a date or venue as confirmed based only on this tool’s example text.
Do a final accuracy pass
Read the printed sign as if you had not planned the event. Are the date and location confirmed? Does “From” show the correct name? Is the reply line comfortable for the person receiving it?
Share a corrected version if details change. The generated SVG is editable, but an old screenshot may keep circulating unless you explicitly replace it.
